Elements and Performance Criteria
- Identify installation requirements.
- Building plans and specifications and any special instructions are obtained.
- Work health and safety (WHS) and environmental requirements associated with installing LPG storage facilities are adhered to throughout the work.
- Quality assurance requirements for company operations are identified and adhered to.
- Gas load and design requirements are determined from plans, specifications, and job drawing or workplace instructions.
- Storage capacity is checked for compliance with regulatory authorities’ and installation requirements.
- Appropriate regulators are determined to meet capacity and load of the system according to installation requirements.
- Appropriateness of selected location to provide required service is established in compliance with standards and installation requirements.
- Quantity of required materials is calculated from design, drawings and specifications in compliance with installation requirements.
